Over Terrorist Activities … Australia Expels Iranian Ambassador and Diplomatic Mission from Canberra
Monahdhon – Canberra
In an unprecedented move, the Australian government announced today the expulsion of the Iranian ambassador and the entire diplomatic mission of Tehran from the capital, Canberra, citing what it described as “terrorist practices and serious violations” committed by the Iranian regime on Australian soil and in the region.
Australian authorities confirmed that the expulsion decision came after a series of intelligence reports and evidence revealed the involvement of Iranian diplomats in illicit activities that threaten Australia’s national security, including attempts to target Jewish places of worship in Australia in a blatant act of anti-Semitism, in addition to their direct support for cross-border terrorist operations.
This decision comes at a time when international condemnation is mounting against the Iranian regime’s repressive policies, its systematic support for extremist groups, and its continued oppression of peoples under its occupation, foremost among them the Ahwazi people.
The Renaissance Pioneers Movement for the Liberation of AL-Ahwaz views this Australian step as the beginning of genuine accountability for the Iranian regime’s crimes, and clear evidence of the growing isolation that Tehran is facing within the international community.
In this context, the Movement calls on the Australian government to follow up on this decision by designating the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a terrorist organization inside Australia, given that it is the regime’s most dangerous arm in carrying out terrorist operations, exporting chaos, and destabilizing the region and the world.
The Movement affirmed that confronting Iranian terrorism cannot be complete without firm and decisive measures, starting with dismantling the IRGC and its intelligence apparatus abroad, in order to protect international security and uphold the values of freedom and justice.
